50-some years ago my grandmother’s inn was tucked away along the coast of southern Sardinia between the sea and countryside, and offered meals and lodging to the first tourists to reach and discover the pristine landscape. The “Pedra de Mari“ farm holiday was born from its careful and patient restoration. The name comes from an ancient rock found in the farm’s olive grove which appears to have been an altar in the Nuragic age.
The Pedra de Mari farm holiday, following the principles of slow-tourism, hopes to be a point of reference for anyone wanting a fully-relaxing vacation in touch with nature, and those wanting to discover this island’s most hidden sides; visit its most pristine beaches and allow their palate the chance to rediscover true, genuine and natural tastes and aromas of times past.
The garden and the surrounding countryside immediately offer you the peace and quiet that you need. It will be our pleasure to host you, offering a bed and breakfast as well as half-pension service, based on the season. We will see to providing all the information and directions you need, upon your arrival. We hope to immediately demonstrate our hospitality; contact us - if we don’t have the availability you are looking for, we will be happy to put you in touch with other Bed & Breakfasts, farm holidays and restaurants in Pula, Chia, Nora or Cagliari. |
